Sheremetyevo to launch Terminal C in July instead of 2022
MOSCOW, Jun 24 (PRIME) -- Moscow’s Sheremetyevo International Airport plans to open its C Terminal ahead of schedule, in July instead of May 2022, the airport said in a statement late on Wednesday.
“Sheremetyevo notifies about a planned opening of Terminal C focused on servicing of international airlines in July 2021 to take care about the safety and comfort of passengers, employees, and airlines, to create additional space for the people and conditions for the airlines,” the statement read.
The terminal will help the airport to comply better with the regulations of anti-epidemiologic recommendations of the human welfare watchdog as the number of the international flights increase. The terminal will service international flights of airline Aeroflot, previously serviced by Terminal D, the airport said.
